Croatian Coastal Cruises (Premium Superior)

Mini Cruise from Dubrovnik to Split (6 Days)

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The brand new Premium Superior category are recently built mini deluxe vessels featuring similar comfort, but smaller in size – 38 to 41m in length. The vessels include air-conditioned en-suite cabins with double or twin beds, 8 to 14 sq metres in size. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and dining room. Services included: buffet breakfasts, three course lunches, Captain’s dinner, English speaking tour manager on board, three guided tours, daily cabin service, mid-week fresh set of towels and bed linen and luggage handling.

Day 1: Dubrovnik

Board the boat at 1400hrs. Either explore the town on your own or join a guided tour of the town followed by an optional cable car ride up to Srđ mountain for spectacular views of the old town. Don’t miss a walk through Stradun –both a street and a square, the most famous place inside the town walls. Head up to the 1,940m long town walls and walk round or take a cable car ride to Srđ mountain if you didn’t earlier! Overnight in the port of this magical town.

Day 2: Dubrovnik -Sipan/Trstenik

Free morning to explore Dubrovnik. Wander through side streets, visit palaces and churches or chill on a terrace. Late morning leave the magnificent city of Dubrovnik and continue your cruise towards the isle of Sipan or the pretty little town of Trstenik on the Peljesac Peninsula, where you can swim during the afternoon and spend the night. There will be the possibility of visiting a local winery and enjoying a Captain’s dinner on board in the evening.

Day 3: Sipan/Trstenik - Korcula

After breakfast you will depart for Korcula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Lunch is served on board against the backdrop of Lumbarda. Arrive at Korcula late this afternoon and overnight in the port. As you explore the island this evening you will learn more about the local legends and the history behind the its intriguing monuments.

Day 4: Korcula - Hvar

Early in the morning you will depart for the Pakleni Islands, where you will have lunch and time for some swimming, followed by an optional sightseeing tour of Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic. Here you can find the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower still intact. Hvar is also home to the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded here in 1612. There are many entertainment options, along with some good restaurants and cosmopolitan bars and cafes that are open long into the night.

Day 5: Hvar (Bol) - Split

The next stop on your cruise will be the island of Brac. You will have some time to take a dip off one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia – Zlatni Rat - near Bol. Bol is a typical fisherman’s town which has now developed into a popular tourist destination. After lunch, commence your journey back to Split where the last overnight stay is planned. On your way back to Split there will be another break for some swimming in one of the many bays off the island of Brac. Arrive in Split in the late afternoon. Enjoy dramatic views of the Split Riviera as you approach the port. From here, you may choose to join an optional guided tour of Split or spend your last evening relaxing as you soak up the atmosphere in one of the many bars or restaurants. An impressive UNESCO World Heritage Site, Split boasts abundant Roman architecture including the impressive Diocletian Palace.

Day 6: Split

Your journey ends in Split where you will disembark the ship.
