Dubrovnik Wine Cruise

The Croatian Coastal Cruise fleet offers relaxing, scenic cruises around the glittering Dalmatian coastline. The fleet comprises of six different categories of ship. The new Premium category are steel hulled vessels measuring between 29 to 35 metres in length, with a modern traditional look. The spacious air-conditioned cabins have en-suite bathrooms. Vessels of this category all feature spacious amenities including a sundeck, lounge and dining room. Services included: buffet breakfasts, three course lunches, Captain’s dinner, English speaking tour manager on board, one guided tour, daily cabin service, mid-week fresh set of towels and bed linen, luggage handling.





Embark the ship in Dubrovnik.

Day 1: Dubrovnik

Arrive in Gruz Harbour, Dubrovnik, and check in from 1pm this afternoon. Settle into your cabin and meet the crew and other guests. Enjoy the afternoon exploring the city on your own. The ship remains moored in Dubrovnik for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dubrovnik - Mljet

After breakfast your cruise continues to the island of Mljet. Admire the islands natural scenery while you enjoy lunch on board. Early in the afternoon your ship arrives at the northern end of the island, where Mljet National Park is located. Spend the afternoon walking around the two saltwater lakes here which are surrounded by lush forest. In the middle of the large lake, inside the National park, you can visit the Franciscan monastery and church on St. Mary isle. You’ll also have the opportunity to rent a bicycle to cycle around the paths that surround the lakes. There are lots of nice small restaurants in close proximity to the ship one can choose to enjoy a quaint seafront restaurant with open fires grilling freshly caught fish! Overnight in port Polača/Pomena.

Day 3: Mljet - Hvar

Early morning departure towards the Paklenski islands in front of Hvar town where there will be enough time to relax and refresh in the clean, crystal blue sea. Arrive in Hvar after lunch, the longest island in the Adriatic. Hvar has numerous cafes, restaurants and bars, a Renaissance cathedral with its original tower and is also home to the oldest community theatre in Europe, founded in 1612. In the afternoon you will visit the Tomić winery for wine tasting. The wine maker Andro Tomić will offer you some of his native Hvar wines and some cuvees like the innovative combination of Plavac Mali & Cabernet Sauvignon. Overnight in Hvar port.

Day 4: Hvar - Bol - Split

Leave Hvar and continue your cruise towards the island of Brač, more precisely to the town of Bol, best known for its famous Zlatni rat beach (Golden horn), a natural phenomenon that with its specific form dominates the other beaches of Croatia. Before lunch on bord in Bol, enjoy wine tasting in the facilities of the oldest Dalmatia wine cooperative (dating 1903). Arrive in Split in the afternoon. Split is Croatia’s second city, a busy university and maritime town and the capital of the Dalmatia region. Split is a city under UNESCO protection, and its historical and cultural monuments are wondrous both to local inhabitants, but also to the many visitors who fall in love with this 1,000 plus year old beauty. There’s the possibility of joining a sightseeing tour of the old town including Diocletian's palace which the Roman emperor had built as his retirement home.

Day 5: Split - Korcula

This morning the ship sails to Korčula, the birthplace of Marco Polo. Enjoy lunch on board and a swimming break in one of the bays en-route. Arrive in Korčula in the afternoon where you will later visit hotel Korsal's wine cellar and taste some of the famous Croatian wines and a light snack. Overnight in Korčula port.

Day 6: Korcula - Sipan

Early in the morning continue your trip towards the Elafiti islands, a group of islands west of Dubrovnik. They include Šipan, Lopud and Koločep (Kalamota). They attract many tourists with their beautiful scenery and sandy beaches. Swimming and lunch is planned at one of the smaller Elafiti islands. ŠIPAN, the largest island of the Elafiti, is also the most distant from Dubrovnik. This is where you will spend the night. Captain`s dinner on board.

Day 7: Sipan - Dubrovnik

As you enjoy breakfast the ship sails towards Dubrovnik, marvel at the beautiful natural sights along the way. Arrive back in Dubrovnik at approximately 2pm. Late afternoon you will visit the Konavle area and Crvik winery to sample a native Dalmatian wine sort ‘’Maraština''. Overnight in the Gruz port.

Day 8: Dubrovnik

After your final breakfast, disembark the ship in Dubrovnik.

  • Please note that while sales taxes are included in the cost of the cruise, there is a compulsory visitor tax of EUR 40 per person per week, which cannot be paid in advance and which will be collected at the start of your cruise
  • Additional National Park entrance fees of between EUR 10 and EUR 15 per person may also be charged, depending on the season and the parks visited
