Owner's Suites

Owners suite

There are two luxury Owner's Suites on the Paul Gauguin, both located in superior positions to the fore of Deck 7. The first (Suite 701) has accommodation of 457 square feet plus a large private balcony of 77 square feet. The rooms of the second (Suite 7002) are slightly larger at 531 square feet, but the balcony is narrower at 57 square feet. Both Suites can accommodate up to 4 passengers if required, using fold out beds, cribs or a sofabed. The Suites have beautifully appointed bathrooms with separate bathtub and shower, WC, robes and slippers. For an enhanced level of personalized service, guests staying in the Owner's Suites also benefit from a Butler.

Category A - Veranda Suite

Veranda Suite

There are four Veranda Suites on the Paul Gauguin – the Tahiti Suite, Pont Avent Suite, Atuona Suite and the Arles Suite – all located on Deck 7, towards the top of the ship. Generously sized at almost 300 square feet and with a balcony of over 50 square feet, these suites are extremely spacious and offer excellent levels of comfort. They are furnished with a Queen size bed, but are spacious enough to accommodate 2 extra passengers on fold-out beds. These Suites have their own seating area with a sofa, chair and table, and for the ultimate in individual service, a butler will be at the disposal of guests in the Veranda Suites.

Category B - Veranda Stateroom

Veranda Stateroom

Veranda Staterooms on the Paul Gauguin are located towards the bow of the ship, on the uppermost accommodation deck. They are spacious at over 300 square feet, and all have their own private balconies of approximately 50 square feet. Bathrooms are well equipped with bathtub, shower and WC (except for one Stateroom which has shower and WC only) and there is also a separate seating area with a sofa and chairs. Guests staying in the Veranda Staterooms will also benefit from the services of a Butler, who will be available to unpack luggage and make individual arrangements both on board and off the ship.

Grand Suite

Grand Suite

The Ship has two Grand Suites, the Paul Gauguin Suite and the Flora Tristan Suite, both located in prime positions at the front of the uppermost accommodation deck. These suites are a generous 332 square feet, but it is their large balconies (197 square feet) which curve around the outside of the suite which make them exceptional. Grand Suites can accommodate up to 4 passengers using fold out beds if required. Bathrooms are well equipped with a bathtub/shower and WC, robes and slippers, and the suites have a large seating area with a table, sofa and chairs. These Suites are also serviced by a Butler, who will ensure that guests receive the ultimate in individual service, from unpacking luggage to making reservations for a special night out on shore.

Category E - Window Stateroom

Window Staterooms are located on Deck 4, are approximately 200 square feet in size and feature large picture windows. They are furnished with Queen size beds, or twin beds which can be configured as a queen size bed and have a small seating area. One of the Window Staterooms is slightly larger and is wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms all have bathtub, shower and WC as well as robes, slippers and a hairdryer.

Category F - Porthole Stateroom

Ocean View Stateroom w Porthole

There are 14 Porthole Staterooms on the Paul Gauguin, all located on Deck 3. As the name suggests, the rooms have a view of the sea through portholes. They are sized at 200 square metres and are furnished either with a double bed, or with twin beds that can convert to a double. Bathrooms have a bathtub with shower and a WC, and the Staterooms are air-conditioned.

Category C - Balcony Stateroom

The Category C Balcony Staterooms on the Paul Gauguin are all located on Deck 7 and are approximately 200 square feet, with their own private balconies of at least 37 square feet, they are generously sized. These Staterooms are furnished with a double bed, or twin beds which convert to a double, and have en suite facilities that include either a shower or bathtub and WC. In some of the staterooms, the loveseat converts to a bed to accommodate a third passenger.

Category D Balcony Staterooms are all located on Deck 6 and are approximately 239 square feet, which includes a private balcony of 37 square feet. These staterooms are furnished with a queen size bed, small seating area with a loveseat and table and they have en suite bathrooms with a bathtub and WC. Some of the Category D Staterooms are able to accommodate a third passenger, as the loveseat converts to a bed.
